OBITUARY Edwadean A Gibbs January 18, 1927 – October 5, 2018 Mrs. Edwadean “Dinky” Gibbs, 91, of Gadsden went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5th, 2018 . Her family will receive friends for visitation at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. Graveside services will follow at 2 P.M. Monday at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Pastor Bart Watts will officiate.

Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing. Mrs. Gibbs is preceded in death by her husband Hobert Gibbs, parents Earl and Dolly Wagnon, brother Bobby Wagnon, sister Tommie Richardson, and brother-in-law James Richardson. She is survived by her sons Thomas (Linda) Gibbs and Rocky (Anita) Gibbs, grandchildren Stacie (Rusty) Rowan, Kevin Gibbs, and Lacey Gibbs, great-grandchildren Morgan and Mallory Hall & Haley and Dustin Rowan; sister Inez Sapp, and sister-in-law Dee Wagnon.

She was also blessed to have wonderful nieces and nephews who made her feel she was a special aunt. Special thanks to her niece, Regina, for checking in on her every night and taking her fun places; to her best friend Leslie for spending so much time with her (being a daughter she never had); and to her friends and neighbors Carol and Horace (a blessing). Pallbearers will be Charles Sapp, Jimmy Richardson, Johnny Richardson, Kevin Gibbs, Mike Cassidy, Perry Renfroe, and Sam Mostafavi.

Special thanks are extended to all the C.N.A.s, therapists and Nurses on Rehab Hall at McGuffey Healthcare;to Dr. Akisanya and Staff; to Dr. Sinha, and to the staff of Southern Care New Beacon Hospice. In the event of inclement weather, committal service will be held at the funeral home.
