Edward’s Obituary Funeral services for Edward Baker Jr. will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK with Bro. Lance Tyler officiating. Edward passed from this life March 26, 2019, in Hugo, OK at the age of 80.

Edward Baker Jr. was born November 29, 1938, to Edward Baker and Bessie Pearl (Thompson) Baker, in Soper, OK. He had lived in the Choctaw County area his whole life and was of the Assembly of God faith. Edward enjoyed visiting with friends, seeing the white buffalo outside of town, and going to church.

He loved seeing all the animals at the circus, going on picnics, and camping at the cabins on Hugo Lake. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Bessie Pearl Baker; brother, Bennie Joe Pipkins; and two sisters, Wanda Chapman, and Alyne Harris. Edward is survived by his brother, Jess Burl Baker and wife, Wanda, of Soper, OK; as well as, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
