Edward C. Bowman, Jr., 75, of Biddeford died on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough. He was born on December 9, 1942 to Edward C. and Mary E. (Cudworth) Bowman in Waltham, MA. He graduated from high school in Waltham, MA.

He proudly served in the United States Navy. During that service, he served on both the USS Bache and the USS Canberra. On March 29, 1969, he married Janet E. McLaughlin at St. Jude’s Church in Waltham, MA.

He worked at Reece Corporation as a machinist. They moved to Florida, where he worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Crestview. After they moved back to Waltham, he worked at Bird Precision.

He was an avid sports fan, he loved the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins. He enjoyed target shooting and belonged to a gun club. He loved Tin Can Sailors.

He also enjoyed motorcycles and owned many of them. He is preceded in death by his four siblings, Larry, Blanche, Thomas and Patricia. Edward is survived by: His loving wife of 49 years, Janet E. Bowman of Biddeford 2 children: Patricia Kathleen Wrenn of Martinez, CA Edward E. Bowman of Woburn, MA 2 grandchildren: Patricia Eiden and her husband Nick of Oakley, CA Juliana Bowman of Woburn, MA Many nieces and nephews There will be no services.
