Paul Roger Bouchard, 62, of Freeport died on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home in Freeport. He was born on September 26, 1955 to Roger and Yvette (Beaudoin) Bouchard in Biddeford. Paul spent almost 42 of his 62 years in the loving care of Independence Association at Independence House in Freeport.

His family is deeply grateful for the extraordinary care and devotion given to the quality of life. The family would also like to thank Chans Hospice staff, who enriched the end of life experience for Paul, his home, and his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Yvette Bouchard; and a sister, Claudette Bouchard Gagnon.

Paul leaves behind: 2 sisters: Charlotte Bouchard Jacques and her husband Ralph Denise Bouchard Reilly and her husband Michael 2 nieces: Elizabeth Reilly Hussey and Rebecca Jacques Henry 4 nephews: David Gagnon, Shawn Reilly, James Jacques, and Jonathon Jacques And great nieces and nephews His beloved housemates at Independence Home: Nancy Bassett, Karen McGann, Grace McKenna, (Raymond) Butch Schram, and Terri Snape Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name can be made to Independence House, 31 School St., Freeport, ME 04032. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
