Frank Walker, 83, of Biddeford and the Villages, Florida, passed away on July 28, 2018, at St. Andre’s Healthcare after a lengthy illness. He was born on October 14, 1934, in Harrison, Maine, a son of Henry and Esther (Grover) Walker. He graduated from Harrison Elementary School and attended Bridgton High School and Norway High School.

He served active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War, followed by four years in the National Guard. Frank worked for the Portland and Portland Railroad, Congdon Transportation, First National Stores, and Saco Tannery as a tractor trailer driver. He then worked for Pratt & Whitney for 20 years, retiring in 1999.

On March 19, 1965, he married Doris Cadorette Letourneau, a widow with three children, Joanne, Nancy, and Michael. Frank was predeceased by his parents Henry and Esther, his sisters Barbara and Alma, and a brother Errol. He was also predeceased by his wife Doris on December 16, 1999, his daughter Nancy Cassette, his son Michael Letourneau, and his son-in-law Roger Descoteaux.

He is survived by his daughter Joanne Descoteaux and daughter-in-law Nancy Letourneau. He is also survived by Jacqueline Crepeau, his companion of 15 years, and her children: Diane Desrosier and husband Doug, Sue Goulet and husband Gerry, Judy Gregoire and husband Francis, and Ken Crepeau and wife Pat. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Rev.

Lee R. Descoteaux, Scott Descoteaux and wife Linda, Shawn Descoteaux and wife Celeste, Kenneth Cassette, and also Sheila Cassette. He leaves 7 great grandchildren: Jack, Benjamin, Austin, Alec, Ariana, Kason, and Michael. Visiting Hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, Maine 04005.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. To share condolences on-line please visit www.
