SHUMOVICH, EDWARD DANIEL Age 65, of Oakwood, suddenly on Friday, January 18, 2019. Little did Eddie know how deeply he was loved by so many. Wherever he went and whatever he did, he was willing to listen and take on a piece of others’ problems.

Much like his father before him, he was a bridge from one generation to the next. Let us not forget the beautiful gardens that welcomed everyone to his neighborhood. Ed was a walking DIY encyclopedia in the Shumovich tradition, who could answer any home improvement question.

He was a 1976 graduate of Kent State University, Bachelor of Architecture, and a project manager for Marino Construction for 32 years. Ed cared lovingly for his parents in their last years, at their home. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Ann Shumovich.

He found the greatest joy of his life when he adopted his two dogs, Marco and Maxie, taking them to dog parks to visit with many friends they made there. Beloved brother of Greg (Jeannie) Shumovich, Ray Shumovich, and Barbara Zubenko; also survived by nephews, Kevin, Christopher, David, and Mark. It is our deepest sadness that we have lost a son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, neighbor, and coworker.

Celebrate Ed’s Life MONDAY ONLY 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the SCHEPNER- McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 165 Noble Ave. , Crafton where the Blessing Service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Edward Daniel Shumovich please visit our Sympathy Store.
