Edward H. Hazlett, Jr., 73, of South Buffalo Twp. , went to meet his Lord on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 peacefully, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Ed was born in Natrona Heights on November 6, 1945, a son of the late Mary B. (Bailey) and Edward H. Hazlett, Sr

He was employed for many years as a foreman at Pullman Standard in Butler. After the Pullman Standard plant closed, Ed went to work for Molnar Heating as a crew foreman. Ed was a life member of the Ford City Eagles.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to spend time at his camp in Marienville. Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy E. (Mattern) Hazlett. Son, James E & Tammy Hazlett, of Chicora.

Two daughters, Ronda B. Edninger and Tracey Boust of Cadogan and Wendy S Hazlett & Timothy Lewis of South Buffalo Twp. His grandchildren, Tiffany Lewis, Kaeli Lewis, Shane & Kim Johnston and Cortney Hazlett. Ed is also survived by three sisters, Irene Longdon, of Natrona Heights, Jeannie & Mark Nesbit, of South Buffalo Twp.

; Dianne & Barry Kamer, of South Buffalo Twp. Family and friends will be received on on Thursday, December 20th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 8:00 pm following the visitation on on Thursday, December 20th. with Pastor Dave West officiating.
