Edward’s Obituary A retired Mail Man and former employee of the Ford Motor Co. Edward Henry Soler, Sr. known as both “Feet” and “Taco” to his friends, passed away suddenly at the age of 67. He was also a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1968 thru 1971. His medals included the National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars; Army Commendation Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Expert (Rifle).

Ed was the devoted father of Leah Soler and late Edward Soler, Jr. The loving grandfather of Selena, Love’ah and Lai’annah. He was the beloved son of the late Norma and Miguel Soler and dearest brother of Paulette Soler and Michael (Anneliese) Soler, Kristine (Manuel) DelRio, Norman (Bernice) Soler and Brenda Soler. Ed was also survived by an aunt, nieces, and nephews.

The family will be present on Thursday morning (12/27/2018) from 9-11 AM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 806 Clinton St. (near Smith) where a Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
