Edward J. Hoxsie, 67, of West Greenwich, RI, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at RI Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late John and Mary (McSoley) Hoxsie. Edward was CNA at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI and RI Hospital, Providence, RI.

He also worked for Hoechst Celanese, Coventry, RI. The things he loved the most in his life were his family, friends, his dogs, Remy and Brownie, the New England Patriots, Harley Davidson motorcycles and classic cars especially Chevrolet Corvettes. He is survived by two children; Michelle L. Pflomm and her husband Alex and Shawn M. Hoxsie and his companion Shakira Baker, a brother; John “Jack” Hoxsie and five grandchildren; Ethan, Cody, Leah, Molly and Naomi.

A catholic memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 6:00pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.
