Obituary for Edward Junior Eggers Sr. Edward Junior Eggers Sr., 75, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, December 6, 2018 in his home. He was born October 8, 1943 in Sandy Hook, WI, the son of Chester and Jeanette (Dixon) Eggers. Ed married the love of his life, Carol Ann Heisz on October 29, 1960 in Boscobel, WI.

Ed started life in many careers but ultimately resolved to become a mechanic. He owned and operated Ed’s Auto in Big Flats, WI, for over 35 years. No one who met him would ever be able to forget his passion for non-working activities.

Beyond his great ability to socialize with anyone, he was extremely fond of fishing and nearly equally enjoyed deer hunting with the same fever. He also enjoyed playing Wednesday night pool leagues. Ed was a member of the Jack Pine Snowmobile Club in Adams County and the Midwest Wisconsin Country Music Jamboree.

Survivors include his loving wife, Carol; children, Ed (Lou Ann) Eggers, Bill (Michelle) Eggers, Rich (Kim) Eggers, and Kevin (Angel) Eggers; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Joann (Gary) Johll and Carol (Pete) Lenz; brother, Gary (Karen) Eggers; and the second love of his life, his dog, Maggie Mae. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice Service, Rockford, IL, for the wonderful help and care that was given to Ed. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Lisa and twin sons Tim and Tom.

A visitation of remembrance for Ed will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Upcoming Events Visitation , DEC 9.
