Memorial service for Edward Lee Hill, age 86, of Decatur, will be Friday, January 4, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Decatur Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Sivley officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the church.

Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mr. Hill, who died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born May 9, 1932, in East Prairie, MO, to Forrest Hill and Miranda Katherine Godsey Hill. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremy Ripley, his parents, and two sisters, Novella and Pauline.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Belle Sanders Hill of Decatur; three daughters, Katy Ripley (Doug) of Decatur, Sandy Davenport (Dave) of St. Louis, MO, and Tricia May (Forrest) of Memphis, TN; one brother, Ralph Hill (Irene) of California; and four grandchildren, Ryan Pemberton, Jessica Higdon, Brandy Wilbanks, and Christal Miles.
