Edward “Little Eddie” Oda Hobbs III died unexpectedly in Lexington on October 18th, 2018 at the age of 51. Eddie is survived by his parents, Edward and Judy Hobbs of Lexington, nieces, Megan Hobbs of Columbia and Savannah Salyer of Lexington. As well as numerous Aunts and Uncles.

He is preceded in death by his sister Rhonda Hobbs of Kershaw and niece Ashley Hobbs of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Eddie was born on January 23rd 1967 in Richland, South Carolina to Edward and Judy Hobbs. After moving to Lexington, Eddie began working for Trans-Tel, Inc. Eddie has a long history in the excavation, surveying and utility profession.

When Eddie wasn’t at work, you could almost always find him with a fishing pole in his hand, by the water somewhere with his best friend Raymond Boyer Sr., “Ray” or playing his games. Eddie was a talented artist and enjoyed carving intricate designs into wood and glass. In respect to Eddie’s wishes there will be a private viewing for immediate family at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington.
