Edward O. “Ed” Hardy, 79, of Walton, went home to be with the Lord at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Community Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo. He was born April 17, 1940 in Logansport to Edward C. and Mary (Campbell) Hardy. He married Lillian Temple on June 4, 1983 in Logansport and she survives.

Ed was a truck driver for Wilson Food for over 30 years. He was a member of Judson Road Christian Church in Kokomo and a former Elder at Sonrise Worship Center in Kokomo. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and doing yard work.

Surviving family include his wife Lillian Hardy of Walton and his children, Anna Marie Hardy, Steve (Cindy) Hardy, Michelle Boller, Edward “Junior” Hardy, Cary Hardy, Cecil (Marguerite) Piercy, Faith Saliba, Kevin ( Jane) Piercy and Kandace (Gabriel) Gonzalez. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and his faithful dog Baby. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gary Hardy and three brothers, Gib Campbell, Claude Hardy and Jerry Hardy.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Judson Road Christian Church, 2006 West Judson Road, PO Box 2554, Kokomo, IN 46901 Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.
