Edward “Ed’ Roland Barnett, 64, of Summerville, the beloved husband of Penny S. Barnett, passed away on Friday July 6, 2018. He is the father of Christopher Barnett and his wife Megan, and Todd Barnett and his wife Angela. He is the grandfather to Wyatt, Mason, Brooklyn, Olivia Barnett and Celina Wojnar and her husband Keith.

He is predeceased by his father Robert Burwell, and his mother Betty Barnett, his stepfather Burrell Barnett and his brother, Robert Barnett. Ed served our country in the United States Army. He was a line handler with Moran Environmental Recovery.

Other than his wife, he loves his dogs, gardening and most of all, telling stories to all that would listen. Ed’s funeral service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1pm in Guide Church South Campus, 75 Rome Hillard Road, Columbus Ohio 43228. Arrangements by Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
