Edward S. Chicuorka, 79, went to be with the Lord peacefully on January 9, 2019. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Frances Chicuorka. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years Virginia (Ripic) Chicuorka; his sons Edward, Michael, David, Robert (Lisa), Peter and his beloved daughter Kristin (Christopher) Alfarano; grandchildren Annastazia, Isabelle and Elizabeth Alfarano and Joseph Chicuorka.

He graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1957; is a veteran of the United States Army and retired from IBM Endicott. He was a former member of St. Casimir’s and is a member of Most Holy Rosary in Maine, NY. He spent several years traveling, enjoying family and friends.

His greatest treasure was spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9am to 11am at Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine, NY.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 11am. Military Honors will follow at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Ed’s name to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 North McKinley Ave. , Endicott, NY 13760 or Univ. of Rochester, Box 278996, Attn: Neurology, Rochester, NY 14627.
