Ed Potee 73 passed away on May 9, 2018 in Chandler AZ. The third of six children born to Edwin & Margaret Potee. Ed was born in Glendale, OH on 5/27/1944.

He attended Princeton High School where he graduated in 1962. After high school Ed worked in the family own grocery and moved to General Motors where he retired after a thirty- year career. Ed was raised in Sharonville, OH.

He then moved to Mason, OH and where he lived for thirty-two years. Ed and Judi then lived in The Villages, FL for ten years, and recently moved to Chandler, AZ. Ed loved Merle Haggard music, fishing, cooking for friends & family, and a good poker game.

Ed is survived by his wife of fifty-one years Judi of Chandler, AZ, son Robert Smith (Rosanne) of Blue Ash, OH, daughters Heather Potee of Chandler, AZ, Shannon Carwile (Donnie) of Louisville, KY, Leslie Oches (Andy) of Gilbert, AZ, and Elizabeth Lipton (Rich) of Milford, Ohio, and eight grandchildren, Colin, Eric, Abbey, Cara, Maggie, Gavin, Ryder, and Violet. A memorial service to celebrate Edwin life will be held June 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Shorten & Ryan funeral home in Mason, Ohio.
