Edwin O. Belcher, 91, of Bowling Green passed away September 1, 2018 at his residence. The Logan County native was born December 23, 1926 to the late William O. and Ethel (Lee) Belcher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Daisy (Powell) Belcher; sister, Evangeline Anderson; and daughter, Deborah Belcher Stark.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Aramark and as a school bus driver. He was active in the Moose Lodge #356 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars #1298. Survivors include his daughters, Phyllis Jones (Stanley) of Bowling Green and Melissa Steele (Michael) of Alvaton; sons, Carlthell Green (Linda) of Bowling Green and Dwayne Belcher (Debbie) of Alvaton; grandchildren, Larry Walker Jr. (Fonda), Kelly Sparks (Scott), Justin Green, Taylor Steele; great-grandchildren, Dylan Sparks, Katie Walker, Emery Sparks, Brady Walker, Braxton and Kellen Green; and his special dog companion Murphy A private graveside service will be held at Brock A. Beery Veterans’ Cemetery.

J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Southern Kentucky.
