Einard W. Mannikko 83 passed away June 8th 2018 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital. Einard was born July 26th 1934 to Urho and Jenny (Wiitala) Mannikko in Ontonagon. Einard was in the Army and retired from Stone Container after 39 years.

In 1960 he married Marcella Wells and they resided in Wood Spur. Einard is survived by his wife Marcy, son Wade (Joanne) Mannikko, granddaughter, Lacey (Frank) Pipolo, great grandchildren, Vincent and Luca Pipolo, sister, Doris Saari, brothers, Matt Mannikko & Grant (Wanda) Erickson, brothers-in-law, Paul Wells, Al (Charlotte) Wells, sisters-in-law, Janice (Spero) Behr, Donna (Alvin) Kaurala, Carol (Al) Behr, Linda (Tom) Massie, Sharon (Mike) McGeshick, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Charlotte Gagnon, brothers, Charlie Wells, brother-in-law, Robert Allaire, sister-in-law, Trudy Wells, stepfathers, John Erickson, Hank Shuste, and his beloved dog, Jasper.

The family will have a private gathering at a later date. Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon is assisting the family.
