Obituary for Mrs. Elaine Frances McCarty Elaine Frances McCarty, formerly of Lenox Ave, died December 17, 2018 in the comfort of Berkshire Place, her home for the last two years. Born in Pittsfield December 16, 1928, she was the daughter of Thomas and Pauline LaBrode McCarthy. Elaine was a 1946 graduate of St. Josephs High School.

She was employed by Eaton Paper Co., Edition’s Limited and the City of Pittsfield. Elaine was a communicant of St. Charles Church. She leaves her two sons Denis (Pamela) of Dalton and Mark (Sally) of Pittsfield along with her four grandchildren Erin Redd, Kelly Ziemba, Brian McCarty and Katie McCarty and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill McCarty of 67 years, son Kevin, sister Patricia, brothers Eugene, Richard, and William McCarthy. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Elaine Frances McCarty will be Friday, December 21, 2018 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor Emeritus.

Inurnment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be an hour of visitation on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the St. Charles Memorial Fund, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in her memory. DONATIONS CANNOT BE MADE ONLINE, but may be made through the Dwyer Funeral Home.
