Elaine Whitley, age 59, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on January 1, 2019. She was born on August 11, 1959, in Dallas, GA, to the late Hershel & Darline Hulsey, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Winfred Hulsey and Wendell Hulsey. Mrs. Whitley was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband of 25 years, Jimmy Whitley of Buchanan, GA; son, Tyler (Alexandra) Whitley of Buchanan, GA; daughters, Ashley (Alex) Ridgdell of Dallas, GA, Kellie Whitley of Douglasville, GA, and Kayla Whitley of Cartersville, GA; brother, Marty (Tammie) Hulsey of Muscadine, AL; sister, Patricia (Mitchel) Wiggins of Muscadine, AL; grandchildren, Aubree, Karleigh, Riley, Shelby, and Jayde; number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Lamar Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park.
