Elda Lynne Brown, age 71 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Soldiers Grove Health Services. She was born on August 14, 1947 in Ladysmith, WI to Harzel and Laura (Walter) McCarn. She married Platt Brown on September 6, 1969 in Boscobel, WI.

She had been a 4-H leader for over 30 years, was a charter member of the Boscobel Church of Christ, taught bible school and was a Sunday School teacher. Elda is survived by her husband, Platt Brown of Boscobel; a daughter, Orsa (Lane) Cornwell of Boscobel; 2 sons, Aaron Brown of Boscobel, Ben (Andi) Brown of Darlington; 6 grandchildren, Laura, Rebecca and Hope Cornwell; Brett, Bryce and Riley Brown; a brother, Larry (Tresa) McCarn of Gays Mills; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Nathan.

,Services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Boscobel Full Gospel Church, highway 133, Boscobel. Pastor Scott Jacobs will officiate with burial at the Haney Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
