Eleanor Crawford Carson 95 formerly of Roscoe died Tuesday July 17, 2018 at William Penn Care Center Jeannette. Born on July 23, 1922 in Roscoe, a daughter of Joseph and Jessie Hamilton King. She was a life member of Roscoe Presbyterian Church.

Eleanor graduated in 1940 from California High School and was a graduate of the Douglas School of Business. She had worked throughout her life for various companies. Her proudest work accomplishment was her employment at Christy Park during World War II.

Eleanor held most dear to her: church, family, friends, and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by her children Robert Zaph of State College, Cathy (Bernie) Medved of Elizabeth, Janie Halle of Level Green, Denise Meehan of Maplecrest, NY and Bill (Jane) Crawford of Fort Myers, FL, a brother James King of California, PA, 7 grandchildren Lauren Medved, Michael (Hillary) Medved, Heather Halle, Kerry (Alan) Meehan-Richardson, Jennifer (Otis) Meehan Williams, Eric and Terry Crawford, and 9 great-grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husbands, William Crawford and Eugene Carson, and 2 sons-in-law Stanley Halle and Patrick Meehan.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 20, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc. 1008 Furlong Ave. , Roscoe. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 10:00am at Roscoe Presbyterian Church with Rev.

Candace Cook presiding. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Twp. .
