Obituary for Eleanor M. Carucci Eleanor M. Carucci, 100 a native of Staten Island passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Born Sunday, May 19, 1918 in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late John Campomenosi and the late Jenny Campomenosi. Eleanor born and raised in Staten Island, as a young woman worked for SS White Company, a dental instrument supply company, as well as working in her family’s deli’s.
Eleanor was a school crossing guard also for a few years, but her true calling was her family. She raised 3 Loving boys into gentleman and was proud of all of them. In her free time Eleanor loved trips to AC and spent a good deal of time Knitting and crocheting.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Carucci (2001). Loving mother of John Carucci, James Carucci and George Carucci. Dear mother in law of Grace Carucci, Karen Carucci and the late Mary Louise Carucci, who passed away in November.
Adored sister of Yolanda, and the late Gloria, Mary, Angelo and Anthony. Cherished grandmother of Candice, Frank, Alexander, Kayla, Gina, Laura, and Carla. Great grandmother of Joseph, Salvatore, Victoria, Jacquelyn, Aneissa, Sophia, Matteo, Rachael and James.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 10, 2019 at St. Ann’s Church, 101 Cromwell Ave. , SI, NY 10304 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, and Wednesday January 9, 2019 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
