Eleanor Irene Efimchik, 92, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ passed away Saturday, February 23rd, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was the wife of the late Alexander Efimchik Jr. Eleanor was born in Bloomfield , NJ on April 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Wladyslawa and Michael Zalewska. She lived in Harrison and Newark prior to moving to Cliffwood Beach 52 years ago.

Eleanor is survived by her devoted children, Linda I. Sackerman, Mary Ann Rose and two sons Alexander Efimchik III and Robert Efimchik. She is also survived by her cherished brother Frank Zalewski and 15 loving grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Eleanor will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.

Public Visitation will be held 4 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey, 07735. A Religious Service will be held at on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service on Wednesday at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ.
