OBITUARY Eleanor Shirley Hindle September 9, 1929 – September 14, 2018 Eleanor Shirley Hindle, 88, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Henry and Nora (McHenry) Hindle, she lived most of her life in Fall River before moving to Swansea 20 years. Eleanor was a former parishioner of Holy Rosary Church and member of its’ Woman’s Club.

She enjoyed reading, bingo and knitting. Eleanor retired from the Newport Naval Base after working there for 20 years as an Office Administrator. She is survived by her sister, Mary Plasski of Fall River, nephews, Richard Hindle and Michael, Stephen and James Plasski, and her nieces, Colleen Hebda and Ginny Plasski.

Eleanor was predeceased by her siblings, Ambrose, Henry, Richard, Carlton, Ruth and Grace Hindle. Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by her Funeral Mass at 10am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7pm. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472. FAMILY The late Henry and Nora (McHenry) Hindle, Parents Mary Plasski, Sister Richard Hindle, Nephew Michael Plasski, Nephew Stephen Plasski, Nephew James Plasski, Nephew Collen Hebda, Niece Ginny Plasski, Niece Sister of the late Ambrose, Henry, Richard, Carlton, Ruth and Grace Hindle.
