Eleanor Sue Nichols, 88, of Hernando, MS passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Senatobia Health and Rehab. During her working career she was a preschool teacher from 1983 to 1989 at Cherokee Baptist Church in Memphis. Mrs. Nichols loved taking care of horses, gardening and fishing on her Hernando property.

Eleanor was preceded by her husband of 56 years, Frank T. Nichols, She leaves three children: Jack Nichols (Beth) of Hernando, Danny Nichols of Alaska and Michael Nichols of Flordia; two sisters: Willa Dean Gaddy and Julia Grimes both of MS; she was blessed with five grandchildren: Kristin Cook (Brian) of Hernando, Katelyn Nichols of New York City, Matthew, Jacob and Ellis Nichols all of Memphis; also one great-grandson, Trevor Nichols. Visitation will be from 1 to 2pm Friday, February 22 wtih funeral service immediately following at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown 1661 S. Elvis Presley Blvd. , Memphis, TN 38106 Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, South 2545 E. Holmes Rd.
