Obituary for Elefteria Vasilopoulos Elefteria Vasilopoulos, age 76, born in Greece on February 16, 1942, resident of Ohio, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2018. She passed away suddenly after going into cardiac arrest. Elefteria was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, mother-in-law, sister and friend.

She lived for her family and was the sunshine to our lives. She battled with dementia and through her battle she still cared for her family. She had a heart that was made of gold and that was bigger than herself.

She has touched so many peoples lives and was loved by everyone who crossed her path. Her family came before anything, including herself. She made everyone feel welcomed.

She is survived by daughter, Eva Braughton; son-in-law, Joel Braughton; grandchildren, Andrea, Joel II, Evan, Alexandra and Brandon; great grandchildren, Gabriella and Oliver; brother, George Maniatis; sister, Antigone; niece, Maria Davayios. Friends may call at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High S., Wednesday September 26, 2018 from 10 am until time of service at 10:30 am. Interment Union Cemetery.
