Eli M. Stricker, 83, of Penn Township, died on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in his home. He was born on January 24, 1935 in Greensburg, to the late Samuel and Mildred (Vudragovich) Stricker, and was known to his family as “Sonny”. Eli was a devoted man of God all of his life and attended the Jeannette Assembly of God.

He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed working on the sound system at his church. Before his retirement, he had worked at Latrobe Plastics and Gould ITE. He was a US Army veteran.

Eli is survived by his beloved spouse of 59 years, Patricia A. “Patsy” (Baughman) Stricker; a loving daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl A. and Brian Lovett of Penn Twp. , a grandson, Derek Young; and a brother, Sam (wife Diana) Stricker of CT. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Sat.

, April 28, and from 1-3 & 6-8 PM on Sun. , April 29 at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 30, with Pastor Thomas J. Kroll, officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery- Denmark Manor.
