Elizabeth Ann Dungey, age 87, died peacefully on April 25, 2018 with family and friends by her side. Elizabeth was born in Akron, Ohio and married the love of her life, Allan on June 4, 1949. Elizabeth was a devoted wife and mother; always putting her family first.

In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed square dancing and traveling the country and abroad. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and the occasional trip to Las Vegas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allan R. Dungey and her mother, Catherine Elliott.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Janice (Art) Gissinger, Kathleen Osborne, and Deborah (Charles) Maroon; sister, Carol (Allan) Tobias; grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Swanson, Arthur Jr. (Autumn) Gissinger, Megan Osborne, and Marc (Sheri) Osborne; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Jeffrey Maroon; 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends, MONDAY, April 30 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Chaplain Don Bolich will officiate. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Cleveland Clinic- Akron General: Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd.
