Obituary Elizabeth Clark Herndon went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2019 at the age of 82. She passed away peacefully after an extended illness. A long term resident of Greenwood, Elizabeth was born and raised in Bartow, Florida.

She was the daughter of the late Lawrence P. and Mayme L. Clark. After having two daughters, Elizabeth went on to teach Special Education at Oakland Elementary School. While teaching she earned her master’s degree in Education.
