Shelby Jean Walker Hall, 81, of 236 Oakridge Drive, wife of G.W. Hall, passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2019 at her home. Born in Lincolnton, GA, she was a daughter of the late John Alvin and Alice Louise Poole Walker. She retired after more than 20 years of teaching from McCormick Middle School and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Valorie Walker (Bill) of Bradley and Renee’ Branyon (Scott) of Honea Path; sister, Barbara Ashmore; brother, Allen Walker. Both of Lincolnton, GA; grandson, Aaron Walker (Christina); and a number of nieces and nephews and dear friends. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev.

Kyle Richter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Westside Baptist Church, 215 Bypass 225, Greenwood, SC 29646.
