OBITUARY Elizabeth Cora Mae Glassburn January 5, 1954 – October 15, 2018 Elizabeth Cora Mae (Taylor) Glassburn, 64, went Home to be with the Lord on October 15th, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family. Cora was born to Arlis Sid Taylor Sr. and Vibrilla Taylor on January 5th, 1954 in Overton County, Tennessee. Cora graduated from Pickett County High School in 1971, then went on to attend beauty school.

Cora ran her own beauty shop, All About Hair, for 40 years. She was also a real-estate broker for the Hardie Group for 12 years. Cora married her husband of 39 years, David Kent Glassburn, on June 3rd, 1979 at Morning Star Church in Kokomo.

Cora was a hard and driven worker, and loved to keep busy. Cora was heavily involved in her community. When she wasn’t working, she was out in her garden, or watching the Colts play.

Cora adored her grandkids. She will be missed by her friends and family. Cora leaves behind her husband, David Kent Glassburn; daughter Alysha Vibrilla Glassburn; brother Willie “Sammy” Taylor; grandchildren London James-David Conwell, Reagyn Elizabeth Conwell, and Jaycie Fae LeAnne Conwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Cora is preceded in passing by her parents; and 6 siblings Naomi “Louise” Skelton, Jerry Ramzel Taylor, Addie Jenette Taylor, Frances “Bee” Reeder, Arlis Sid Taylor Jr., and Mary Margie “Midge” Reynolds. Friends and family may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday October 22nd, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Steve Allen.
