OBITUARY Elizabeth Vandergriff July 26, 1933 – October 31, 2018 Elizabeth Vandergriff, age 85, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Elizabeth was born and has been a lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy. She was employed with Cooley’s Fine Clothing in Red Bank for the last 40 years.

Elizabeth is a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Cleo Henderson Worley; brothers, Brother Robert C. Worley and Buck Worley. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Joe Vandergriff; son, Gregory (Robin) Vandergriff; daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Dodson; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, November 4, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services for Elizabeth will follow at 3 pm on Sunday at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
