Obituary for Ella Mae Cossins (Jackson) Ella Mae (Jackson) Cossins 1936-2018 Ella Mae (Jackson) Cossins, 82, of Sheridan, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry, Missouri. Ella was born on August 24, 1936 in Hopkins, Missouri to Orren Douglas and Abena Reika (Groenwald) Jackson. She was a 1954 graduate of Sheridan High School, member of the Sheridan Christian Church and was a cook at the Trails-In Café in Sheridan.

She married Samuel Calvin Cossins on April 1, 1961 in Sheridan, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2012. She was also preceded by her parents and five brothers, Leroy, Lawrence, James, Donald and Harry Jackson; two sisters, Daisy Hernandez, Mary Ann Joslin; sister-in-law, Connie Jackson.

Survivors include her children Lee (Maria) Cossins, Guilford, Missouri; daughter, Liza (Bob) Colin, Republic, Missouri; five brothers, Glen, Bill, Eldon, Douglas and Richard; two sisters, Lillie Schiller and Betty Mackie; sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cossins has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Memorial Service 10:30AM Saturday, November 17th at Price Funeral Home.

Inurnment Sheridan Cemetery, Sheridan, Missouri.
