Obituary for Ralph Bennett Ralph Junior Bennett, 90, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, Febraury 6, 2018 at a local nursing home. Ralph was born at Maitland, Mo on July 14, 1927 to Ralph E. and Clara Ellison Bennett. Ralph was a Maitland High School graduate and served his country in the US Navy during World War II 1946-1948.

Ralph married Mildred Faye Burns October 7, 1950. They celebrated 67 years of marriage and to this union two children were born: Kay and Craig. Ralph was a partsman for a car and appliance dealership, the CB & Q Railroad, and retired from United-Sprint after 28 1/2 years.

During his retirement he worked with Life Line. Ralph was a member of the Elks Lodge for 50 years and the American Legion for 43 years. He was preceded by his parents, brothers Donald, David, and Richard.

Surviving are his wife Mildred of their home, daughter Kay (Terry) Nicholas, son Craig (Amy) Bennett, grandchildren: Conner Nicholas, Jordon Bennett, Sammy and Brandon Auffert. A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice. www.
