Ellen Cely Travaglio, 50, wife of Frank A. Travaglio, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ellen was born on December 4, 1967 in El Paso, TX, daughter of Joseph Eugene Cely, Sr. and Barbara Ann Ferrell Cely. She was a 1986 graduate of Barnwell High School, where she was a band member and member of the tennis team.

Ellen was a 1990 graduate of Clemson University, where she was a member of the Block and Bridle Club. She was a crop consultant with Cely Crop Consultants, attended Vox United Methodist Church and Johnsonville First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Frank A. Travaglio of Johnsonville; three daughters, Bonnie Katherine Travaglio, Emily Gene Travaglio and Janie Olivia Travaglio, all of Johnsonville; parents, Joseph and Barbara Ann Cely of Pamplico; brother, Joseph Eugene (Michelle) Cely, Jr. of Montgomery, AL; niece, Peyton Elizabeth Cely of Montgomery, AL; father and mother-in-law, Francis A. and Gaeta F. Travaglio of Odessa, FL; sisters-in-law, Loriann (George) Plumley of Lutz, FL and Toni Ann (Ilario Bottallo) Travaglio of Safety Harbor, FL; nephew, Gage Plumley of Lutz, FL; and grandmother-in-law, Anna Marie Yodice of Lutz, FL.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Pamplico, with burial to follow at St. James Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Johnsonville, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
