OBITUARY Ellen Joann Hatcher December 20, 1932 – November 30, 2018 Ellen Joann (Gudgel) Hatcher, 85 of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018. She was born on December 20, 1932 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Jesse H. and Mabel (Bergner) Gudgel. She was happily married to her husband Dr. Millard G. Hatcher for 64 great years.

She was a member of the Steuben’s Women’s Club. Ellen participated in Tap dancing in Fort Wayne. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to three different bridge groups.

She enjoyed playing golf, working in the yard, and painting. She was a very active lady, who enjoyed her early morning walks. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Millard G. Hatcher; children, Michael Hatcher and Gayle Snyder; grandchildren, Eric (Michele) Snyder, Jena Snyder, and Kaelyn Hatcher; great- grandchildren, Elliot and Reese Snyder; brothers, Donald and Denzel (Ruth Ann) Gudgel.

She is preceded in passing by her son, Gregory Hatcher; brother, Richard Gudgel; and Sister In-law, Joan Gudgel. There will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Cameron Hospice.
