OBITUARY Elma Elizabeth Rodney March 13, 1946 – November 25, 2018 Funeral Service for Elma Elizabeth Rodney, 72, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, with burial to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Rodney passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. Connelly and Elizabeth Elma McCool Connelly. She was the loving wife of George Henry Rodney. Mrs. Rodney retired from Dems Jewelers following over 20 years of dedicated service.

She was a Disney fanatic treasuring the yearly visits to Disney World with her family. An avid beachgoer, Mrs. Rodney enjoyed time spent at Hilton Head Island. Her love for her family extended to her four legged canine children, Max and Shadow.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, George; sons, George Scot Rodney, Kenneth Robert Rodney; daughter, Diana Lynn Haltiwanger (Brandon); granddaughter, Blair Elizabeth Rodney; brother, Harry Robert Connelly; sisters, Linda James and Debbie Terrinoni. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Please share memories and condolences at www.
