Elodia Villarreal May 02, 1929 – February 21, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Elodia Villarreal, 89, of Santa Maria, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Harlingen, Texas. Elodia was born in Santa Maria, Texas on May 2, 1929 to Jose Aguilar and Maria Cantu. Elodia was formerly employed by Santa Maria I.S.D. and worked in the agriculture business for many years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Eloy Villarreal; brothers, Abel Aguilar, Alberto Aguilar, and Arnold Aguilar. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jose (Estela) Villarreal; grandchildren, Cynthia (Homer) Flores, Oscar (Rose) Villarreal, and Jose (Karla) Villarreal Jr.; brothers, Armando (Herlinda) Aguilar, Alonzo (Nancy) Aguilar; sisters Guadalupe Aguilar, and Ana (Joe) Davila; plus numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the prayer oh the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment will follow to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Oscar Villarreal, Jose Villarreal Jr., Homer Flores, Abram Villarreal, Robert Villarreal, Javier Jimenez Jr. .
