Obituary for Eloise S. Barclay FORT WORTH – Eloise S. Barclay, 100, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at her home in west Fort Worth. Memorials: Contributions may be made in her name to Young Life, P.O. Box 100996, Fort Worth, Texas 76185. Eloise was born Dec.

8, 1917, in Springfield, Ohio and lived in Fort Worth since 1952. She was a homemaker, but worked for a short time at Gordon Boswell Florist. She loved flowers, gardening and most of all, her husband, home and family.

Eloise was an accomplished golfer (until age 90) and won many awards on her home course, Ridglea Country Club. She married the love of her life, William in 1937, who preceded her in death after 73 years of marriage. They traveled around the world, visited many countries, favorites being Australia, Spain and Asia.

After William’s retirement they lived in Taiwan for two years enjoying the Asian culture. Survivors: Sons, William and wife, Pat of Aledo and Steve and wife, Helen of Plano; seven grandchildren, Melissa Judson and husband, Mark, Cynthia Barclay, Jennifer Barclay, William Barclay, Erinn and David Holmes and Melinda Brown; seven great-grandchildren, Allison Timmons (Robert), Sarah Judson, William Judson, Stephen Holmes, Katherine Holmes, Gavin Brown and Brady Brown.
