A Celebration of Life Service for Elpidio “Pete” Nieves, age 67 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Elpidio passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on July 16, 1951 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Elpidio, Sr. and Rosa Hernandez Nieves. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Nelson and Edward Nieves. He is survived by his son, Mark and his wife Elizabeth Nieves; brother Richard Nieves; and sister Rosemary Figueroa.
