88, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Loreto J. Raso. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vitali and Rafaella (Natale) DiGennaro.

Elvira was the loving mother of 2 sons, Dennis Raso and wife Lori of Carrollton, TX, Robert Raso and his wife Michelle of Warwick, RI, 1 daughter Sharon Notarianni of Ledyard, CT; 7 grandchildren, Gina Francis, Maureen Johnston, Samantha Raso, Matthew Raso, Debbie Sladvid, Jeffrey Golditch, Ethan Golditch; 1 great grandchild William Sladvid; 1 sister Jean Butler. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Gelardi, Frank, Thomas and Antonio, as well as 4 sisters Mary DiGennaro, Sue Paolino, Anna Castelli and Rose Pigeon. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave.

, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
