59, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was the beloved husband of thirty-five years to Linda Ann (Fournier) Donnelly. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Collins) Donnelly.

He was a truck driver for Rhode Island Tile Company of Cranston for the past eighteen years. James enjoyed fishing, golf and poker. His passion was spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, James F. Donnelly, Jr. of North Providence, Brian N. Donnelly and his wife Amanda, Sarah B. Donnelly, and Kyle J. Donnelly, all of Cranston. James was the cherished grandfather of Christopher, Paityn, and Brooke Donnelly. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.

Burial will be private.
