Ramona Cecilia Mejia, 77, of Sassafras St., passed away peacefully early Monday morning July 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Nazario E. Mejia. Born on November 22, 1940 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic she was the daughter of the late Romulo and Juana (Cruz) Munoz.

She is survived by a son Cesar E. Mejia of North Kingstown; a daughter Clairbel E. Mejia of Providence; two sisters Providenca Munoz of Providence, RI and Juana Monegro of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren Geraldine, Cesar, Lorenzo and Alonzo Mejia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 am in St. Michael Church 239 Oxford Street Providence, RI 02905. Calling hours Thursday from 4-7 PM in The Jones- Walton-Sheridan Funeral home 1895 Broad Street Cranston, RI 02905.

Burial will be in North Burial Ground Providence, RI.
