Obituary for Elwood Hale Elwood Hale, age 79 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, June 22, 2018, at his home. Elwood was born Wednesday, February 22, 1939 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Leonard Hale and the late Betty Presley Hale. Elwood is survived by his: wife – Audrey Borne Hale 4 sons – David Hale Brian Hale and wife Emily Bruce Hale and wife Diane Johnny Hale and wife Christine 2 daughters – Anna Morgan Crystal Caldwell and husband Allen 9 granddaughters – Jamie Womack and husband Wesley, Pepples Stinson and husband Brad.
Rachel Hale, Erika Hale, Ashlyn Hale, Layla Hale, April Hale, Balze Sells, and Juliana Hale 9 grandsons – Jeremy Jones and wife Ammie, Derrick Hale, Eli Hale, Carter Hale, Craig Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Kevin Caldwell, John Jr., and Jaguar Hale 5 sisters – Margie Dukes, and husband Gene, Phoebe Brymer, Betty Jo Brewer, Margaret Price and husband Waynie, and Ruth Frady brother – Dale Johnson many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. In additon to his parents, Elwood was preceded in death by his brother EJ Johnson, and two sisters Selma Ford and Joene Emerton. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585.
Interment will be in Sodom Cemetery, Spencer, TN. The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2018, and again Monday 8 AM to 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
