A funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Burial at a later date in St. Ann, Jamaica.

Emily Allen, 85, died Thursday January 31, 2019 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. Born June 4, 1933 in Benbow Jamaica; she is the daughter of the late Richard Parker and Florence Clarke. A homemaker for her family; Emily enjoyed singing and dancing.

Surviving are her eight children; Lloyd Martin, Ernest Allen, Horace Allen, Glossett Allen, Carlene Patterson, Dahlia Allen-Henry, Hylene Allen-Bennett, Rhona Allen-Lopez. Twenty nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, one sister as well as many nieces and nephews also survive. Emily’s husband Adrian Allen as well as many brothers and sister died previously.
