Emma M. (Aponte) Chu, 68, of Cranford, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. Born in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Chu was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Del Rosario Chu M.D., devoted mother of Ivelis Velez Carr and her husband John, Juan Velez and his wife Dora, Janice Velez Lopez and her husband Anthony, Melanie Chu and Christopher Chu. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 2.

Also survived by many brothers and sisters. Visiting Sunday, 4:00-8:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, July 30, 2018, 9:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue, Linden, NJ (908)352-9190.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am. Interment Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
