Emma Bradley Ellington, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2019. She was born March 7, 1940 in Wake County to the late George and Estelle Bradley. She was a member of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Jamie Early of Wake Forest and Debra Proctor of Reidsville; grandchildren: Summer Proctor, Garrett Champion, and Ariel W. Rivero; great-grandchildren: Diamond Jones, Angel Rivero, Emma and Noah Rivero, Sherman Terrell Jones, Jr.; and her beloved companion, Peebles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George “Buddy” Bradley, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, 3329 Forestville Road, Raleigh, NC 27616. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Healthpark, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
