Rochester – Ernest E “Ernie” Welch III, 52, of Rochester, formerly of Seabrook died peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was born in Exeter on February 24, 1966 a son of Ruthann Burditt of Eliot, ME and the late Ernest E. Welch Jr. Raised in Seabrook, he loved riding dirt bikes and skidoos when he was a kid. A devoted New England sports fan, who especially loved the Patriots.

He also loved watching cooking shows, a good debate and making people laugh. In addition to his mother Ruthann, surviving family members include his daughter Angel Watts; siblings, Sherry Welch and her husband Robert Cheney, Robert April III and his wife Carol Welch, and George H. Fogg Jr.; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Emma Watts; nieces and nephews, Sherida Welch, Sarah Nadeau, Douglas Nadeau Jr., Adam Welch, Miranda Welch, Heather Welch, Sabrina April, Robert April, Bruce April Jr., Tyler Fogg, Samantha Fogg, Grace Fogg and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his siblings, Wilson O. April, Bruce W. April and Travis E. Welch.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 – 6 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Services will immediately follow at 6 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in their time of need by visiting his GoFundMe page .
