North Hampton – Alice Olson Fowler, 100, of North Hampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at The Pines Nursing Home in Newmarket surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Haverhill MA on May 1, 1918, a daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Cote) Olson. She was the devoted wife of the late Caleb N. Fowler, Jr who died in 1995.

Alice was a long time member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Portsmouth and she had a great love for cooking, sewing and needle point. She leaves behind her eldest son, Carl Fowler and his wife Winifred of Prospect, ME, her seven grandchildren; Mark Fowler and his wife Laurie, of Prospect, ME, Cindy Fowler Burbine and her husband Jeff of Waterville, ME, Greg Fowler and his wife Meredith of Bedford, Ronald A Fowler, Jr of Concord, Janah Fowler Trent and her husband Alex of Kittery Point, ME, Kathy Fowler Parenteau and her husband Dennis of Macclenny, FL and Erin Rose of Michigan. Alice is also survived by her 15 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Caleb, Alice was predeceased by her daughter Marion Fowler Rose, her son Ronald Fowler, Sr and her siblings; Jessie Olson, Olive Olson Knox and Florence Olson Lemstrom. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:30 PM in the Center Cemetery on Post Road in North Hampton.
